CONSULTANT:

The person who have the knowledge about particular things are called as consultant.

SAP CONSULTANT:

The persons who have the knowledge about SAP are called as SAP Consultants. In SAP there are two types of consultants are available.

2 Types of SAP Consultant are:

Number 1: Functional Consultant

Number 2: Technical Consultant

Divided Two Part (Number 2)

1. ABAP Consultant
2. BASIS Consultant

Functional Consultant:

A consultant who is responsible for understanding the business,

Requirements and configuring the real time business scenarios into SAP software is called

SAP Functional Consultant.

Example:

SAP SD Consultant

SAP MM Consultant

SAP PP Consultant

SAP F1 consultant

SAP HR Consultant

etc…

ABAP Consultant:

A consultant who is responsible for developing custom objects like

Developing programs, reports, tables and SAP screens etc… Based on the business

Requirement given by the functional consultant are called as ABAP Consultant.

Example: SAP ABAP Consultant or ABAP Programming Consultant.

BASIS Consultant:

A consultant who is responsible for installing servers, SAP software,

Maintaining databases, creating user names and passwords are called as BASIS
